Reiki Master Level
What will I learn in the Reiki Master Level?
The Reiki Master Level attunement deepens the practitioner’s relationship to Reiki. It prepares them for the work of teaching and attuning others. This is the point where Reiki ceases to be something one does and becomes a state of being.
As a result, Reiki permeates all areas of the practitioner’s life, and deep levels of personal healing are the result. This level of study embraces surrender to the Reiki Divine Source.
How do you teach Reiki Master Level?
The Reiki Master Level is taught one-on-one. It continues the apprenticeship begun in the Reiki Level Two training. The symbols necessary for attunement are taught, as well as advanced energy techniques, teaching techniques, the practice of attunements, and much more.
How long does the training take?
Reiki Master Level training begins when the teacher agrees to take the student as an apprentice for this advanced work. It ends when the student is able to successfully and confidently teach Reiki to others and pass attunements without assistance. The length of time for this journey is unique to each student.
How do the three levels of training compare to each other?
Each level of attunement opens the practitioner up to a different facet of Reiki. As a result, it also increases the amount of Reiki energy that the practitioner’s system can channel.
At Reiki Level One, the amount of space cleared for Reiki energy is comparable to a garden hose.
Reiki Level Two adds to the toolbox three symbols for more specific energy functions. It also increases the amount of space cleared for Reiki energy tenfold. I imagine this to be the equivalent of an eight-inch pipe.
Reiki Master Level adds two more symbols to the toolbox. These symbols allow the Master to pass attunements to others. The energy flow increases at least one hundredfold. I like to think of this conduit being the size of a rain culvert.
