This striking frontal uses a shade of green that evokes rising life and vitality. Using bias appliqué, raw edge appliqué with thread painting, and machine embroidery, it is a celebration of the seasons. It is installed in a chancel within a rather spartan New England-style church, and draws on vibrant colors in the stained glass windows and architectural elements in the light fixtures.
